Greetings!
It has been quite some time since I have updated the blog. I apologize. June 8th! Argh. That is sad. Well, I guess I had better bring you up to speed on what has happened this summer.
We have been:
- Working in the GF office weekly, helping out Don and Kathy with some of the home office duties (newsletter, bookkeeping, board meetings...all the fun stuff).
- Planning and preparing for our upcoming trip to Eastern Europe.
- Communicating with our partners around the world.
- Meeting with partners who are visiting here in the United States.
- Meeting with donors and prayer partners.
- Dealing with personal issues (loan, renters, property management, family emergencies...all the REAL fun stuff!).
That is about it as far as what we have been up to. Lately, our time has been consumed with the planning and preparing for the upcoming trip. We are leaving on Monday, September 1st, for Eastern Europe. We will be flying to Vienna, Austria and taking a train from there into Slovenija. In Slovenija, we have 4 partners who we will be spending time with, developing relationships, establishing better lines of communication, preaching, fellowshiping, working alongside, and encouraging them as much as we can. After our time in Slovenija, we hope to meet with a man from Morocco who we are working to develop a new relationship with. After that, we plan to spend some time in Romania with Gavi Moldovan. In 2006, we spent 5 weeks in Romania, working alongside him in his ministry. We are very excited about seeing him again. Throughout all of these adventures, we will also be doing our best to listen to the Lord and follow His leading in regard to new ministry opportunities. We want to continue to expand Global Fellowship by finding the areas where God is doing mighty things and partnering with those ministers.
We thank you for your continued prayer support. We know that you will remember us on this trip and keep us lifted up in prayer. We will face many new burdens and challenges, many very different than what we faced in India. Please pray that God will grant us the strength, patience, and compasion to deal with these new situations.
