December 2nd

We are currently in Kranj, spending time with an American missionary here, Todd Hunnicutt and his family, wife Sarah and daughter Lili. Todd works with all of our Global Fellowship partners here in Slovenia and therefore has some interesting insights and input for us as we grow in our relationships with them. We will be spending a few days here with the Hunnicutts and also with Drago and Megi. On the 4th, we will be renting a car in Ljubljana and driving to Switzerland. We are still working on getting together with a pastor there near Zurich who is a financial partner with a GF minister in Sri Lanka. Hopefully we will be able to make that connection and get to know him. From Switzerland we will be heading back to southern France and spending some time meeting with different pastors, basically just getting familiar with the state of Christianity in France. We hope to develop relationships there that will eventually lead to partnerships in France for GF. Pray that the Lord will guide us and direct us as we seek out His work in France. After our time in France, we will be heading back to Ljubljana, dropping off the rental car, jumping on a train, and going to Vienna. Then, on the 15th of December, we will be flying to San Francisco.

These last three months have just flown by. We can't believe that we are already into December and only two short weeks away from heading home. We are certainly looking forward to being with family this year for Christmas. It was very difficult to be in India last year during the holiday season.

We thank you all for your prayers. We know that in regard to personal comfort, this trip has been easier than our trip to India, but we still covet your prayers. It is never easy being on the go all the time. We do ask that you would continue to pray for the state of Christianity here in Europe. There is certainly a lack of repentance in these countries. They do not see a need for it. I was talking with someone just the other day about how much harder it is to "feed" people who are not "hungry." In India, there is a certain amount of spiritual hunger. That hunger is completely missing here in Europe. Pray that God would show them (and all mankind) their great need for forgiveness. Pray that people would do as Jesus commanded and repent of their sins and believe in Him for salvation.

May God bless you for your faithfulness to us. We know that we could not serve our Lord in the ways that we do without the prayer and support that we receive from so many of you. We thank you and we praise God for the work that He is doing in all of us. We pray that God will continue to be glorified through each of our lives as we live every day for Him.
