We have been home from Europe for 2 months now. Our time has been filled with working in the office (receipting, fundraising, strategizing, emailing, phone calls, etc.) and preparing for the arrival of our baby (her name will be Annie Marae). On Saturday we took an all day "birthing class" where we received lots of information about what labor and delivery will be like. SCARY! =) And exciting! We can't wait.
In the office, we are working diligently to prepare for the end of 2010. We will be putting together newsletters and contacting Global Fellowship donors and working to help people become more aware of what God is doing around the world through the efforts of Global Fellowship and our partners. It is very exciting.
A week ago on Sunday I talked with Joze Casar in Slovenia for about an hour and yesterday I talked with Sudipta in India for almost an hour. It has been great to be able to talk with them on the phone. It is so much better than just email! Although what a blessing it is to be able to email.
One point of prayer for us personally is housing. We are currently living with my parents and enjoying it immensely (they have been so generous and self-sacrificing!). But we are heavily considering getting a place of our own a bit before Annie arrives. We are looking for something small and cheap! Our budget is in the $500 range so most everything on the market is quite a bit too much for us but we are praying for God to drop something in our laps that we can "afford". So please be praying for us in that regard. If you know of anything in the Auburn area that might work out for us, feel free to let us know. We will need housing for only 6-12 months as we hope to begin traveling again whenever Annie is ready. =)
We also covet your prayers as we continue to develop relationships with our partners, strengthen communication, seek out new partners, keep things up to date in the office, and everything else that being at home dictates for us on the Global Fellowship front. We desire to be effective in making GF efficient and effective so that as an organization we can bring glory to God.
