God is good. We had absolutely no problems or hassles whatsoever. On the drive down, we made great time and were able to cross the border in the daylight. They weren't even stopping traffic at the border and just waved us on into Mexico. It was simple. Once in Mexico, we made a sharp right and headed for the ocean. We followed scenic highway 1 all the way down the coast through Ensenada. It was a beautiful drive as the sun was setting over the ocean. God's majesty was clearly evident there.
We did go out on a limb and eat tacos at a roadside vendor for dinner. That was exciting. We both lived to tell about it.
We had an awesome time with Jorge. He is truly an amazing man of God. His heart for ministry is great. His passion for the lost in inspiring. It was motivational for us to be able to watch him in action. He is fully serving the Lord with all that he is. It was a blessing to be a part of it.
The trip back was also smooth sailing. It is nice to be back in California but we are also really looking forward to heading back down to Mexico in 2 weeks with the high school kids. It will be great to work with Jorge again and be able to serve and encourage him as he diligently serves our Father.
